People Who Care Foundation continues to be a beacon of light for many deserving children and families in Cebu City. Recently renamed The Lord Who Cares Foundation, Inc (LWCFI), the program has helped hundreds of beneficiaries under its various programs and activities. LWCFI has over a hundred students under its Relevant Educational Support, including 53 students in different schools in Mandaue that received educational support. A vital component of the foundation is its Christian values education program, which is geared towards strengthening the spiritual well-being of the participants. LWCFI has partnered with the local community churches such as the First Assembly of God Church in Mandaue and the New Life In Christ Christian Fellowship, to conduct values education classes not only to students but to their parents as well. Apart from their spiritual well-being, the foundation also helps the children and their families to augment their income by providing them with livelihood and income generating projects. LWCFI connects parents and older children with individuals or organizations that need help for various services. Some get work as gardeners, painters, maintenance personnel while others get work as contract poultry growers, among other jobs.
